The benefits of minimally invasive total laparoscopic hysterectomy have been clearly shown during the last two decades, yet the majority of hysterectomies are still being performed in the traditional way. This training course will therefore address all these aspects and show a way towards safe and efficient total laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Course Content:

  • Total laparoscopic hysterectomy
  • Lecture about hysterectomy
  • Tips and tricks with TAIL
  • To watch 3-4 live operations (Hysterectomy, Myomectomy)

Targetgroup / Qualification:

  • Advanced doctors who already practise laparoscopic hysterectomies and want to see a different approach to the laparoscopic technique of TLH.
  • Advanced doctors who do open or vaginal hysterectomies and are interested to change to laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Prerequisites for attending:
Good experience in laparoscopic surgery, having performed at least 40 laparoscopies (adnexal surgery, myomectomy or hysterectomy).
