The rapid growth in surgical treatment of medical diseases makes ongoing education of surgeons essential. New techniques can help to make surgery potentially safer and more efficient at the same time. Especially in one of the surgical core tasks, cutting and coagulating tissue and/or major vessels huge steps in technologydevelopment were achieved in the recent years.

Targetgroup / Qualification:
This training course is designed for digestive surgeons who already have strong experience in laparoscopy and open colorectal surgery.

Prerequisites for attending:
Min 150 lap. colon/bariatric cases per year.

Training Objectives:
The program deals with the latest energy-driven haemostasis technologies and their succesfull application in laparoscopic and open colorectal surgery. Practical training includes using energy technology in a Wet lab environment.
